Currency poor in Greece ... Run away ... take your $ out of your bank, now!

Can you imagine begging to get your cash out of the bank? Look what's happening in Greece right now ... the whole world is watching the collapse and the EU is not doing anything to stop it. Greece, what are you thinking? Your economy is in the toilet and people think this can't happen in the US. OMG, I can't imagine only being allowed to pull out $66.00 a day to survive or imagine having $66.00 dollars in my account in Florida! I have nothing really and that would be a step up. But, seriously what is going to happen tomorrow? This could spread and is already affecting our market ... Wow, I would take all of your cash out of the bank and buy a nice big safe at home ... or start not using credit cards or cash ... and put your money in your own personal can goods or commodities like gold or diamonds. We Americans are so dumb, we need to think in terms that this CAN happen here. Being cash poor is not big deal, being hungry is. If you have cash in the bank, spend it on your food storage or stock up on the end of the world supplies. But your an RV and have it converted to Greasel and buy lots of cooking oil to gas it up. Get a trunk, a tank, a boat, and a plot of land and be ready for the end of the world. Don't wait until you get to be like Greece. Run away to a plot of land out west and put a trailor on it until you build your self sustaining structure. Since I have been out of work since February, I still have food storage that I live on so I won't starve and that makes all that cash I had worth spending. Cash is King but canned goods is forever.

Wild Cherry Pepsi Versus Cherry Coke ...

I love me a good soda filled caffeine fix just like the next fat girl, but damn when I was in high school I drank Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi everyday at lunch as my lunch. Usually in about an hour in Astronomy class, I had a belly ache. I never knew that the fake cherry in the Wild Cherry Pepsi would make me so f*cking ill. And, yet everyday I was buying another one just like a junkie and I believe I got an "A" in my high school Astronomy class due to the wild cherry! LOL But, seriously about six month ago, I stopped drinking diet soda and just getting the soda straight with all of the delicious sugar and I gained four pounds. Now, this may not seem like a whole lot of weight but I have been drinking a sh*t load of soda. I can't stop and now I am worse off than just taking my Aspartame like a good girl. Why can't I have both and I think I will start going back to the Diet Soda, probably the straight Diet Coke, but every once in a while I can still find me a 12 pack of that delicious, "Diet Wild Cherry Coke" and I am happy again one cherry at a time ... The full sugar Cherry Coke is ok ... but I like my Coke straight with some real cherry juice. <sigh> I love Pepsi too and I am not one of those to get into that whole Coke versus Pepsi stuff but when I have a choice I guess I do prefer Coke. There I said it ...

Let No Man Write My Epitaph http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054021/

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054021/

I had never seen this movie but I was grabbed immediately by the melodrama. It's hard to find movies like this anymore with the passion of the acting AND Ricardo! It makes me miss the days of Star Trek ... KHAN!!! Take a minute and find it somewhere and do yourself a favor and see it! Shelley Winters really has you are the heartstrings with her junkie ways and everybody washed up like the "Judge" by played Burt Ives. There is nothing Christmas about this "melo" and you are rooting for the bad guys more than the so-called "good guys". I long for the fantasy of getting out when staying in sounds like more fun. Being bad in this world would make this bad girl go really bad.

OPENING TODAY!

DOPE
Malcolm is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles while juggling college applications, academic interviews, and the SAT. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

A critical hit and audience favorite out of the Sundance Film Festival, High-school senior Malcolm and his friends Jib and Diggy bond over '90s hip-hop culture, their studies and playing music in their own punk band. A chance encounter with a drug dealer named Dom lands Malcolm and company at the dealer's nightclub birthday party; when the scene turns violent, they flee - with the Ecstasy that Dom secretly hid in Malcolm's backpack. A wild adventure ensues as the gang tries to evade armed thugs who want the stash.

Writer/director Rick Famuyiwa delivers an energetic, super-fresh, modern-day coming-of-age story that is a delightful mash-up of DIY punk, Yo! MTV Raps, YouTube, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Intelligent and full of heart, Dope is an up-to-date inspirational tale of the journey to maintain a grasp on one's own authentic self amidst surreal circumstances. Also starring Blake Anderson, ZoĆ« Kravitz &A$AP Rocky.

MONTY PYTHON
AND THE HOLY GRAIL
40th Anniversary Screening!

A cult classic as gut-bustingly hilarious as it is blithely ridiculous, Monty Python and the Holy Grail has lost none of its exceedingly silly charm.

From its opening multi-language titles (that sure looks like Swedish) to the closing arrest of the entire Dark Ages cast by modern-day police, Monty Python and the Holy Grail helped to define "irreverence" and became an instant cult classic. This time the Pythonites savage the legend of King Arthur, juxtaposing some excellently selected exterior locations with an unending stream of anachronistic one-liners, non sequiturs, and slapstick set pieces. The Knights of the Round Table set off in search of the Holy Grail on foot, as their lackeys make clippety-clop sounds with coconut shells. A plague-ridden community, ringing with the cry of "bring out your dead," offers its hale and hearty citizens to the body piles. A wedding of convenience is attacked by Arthur's minions while the pasty-faced groom continually attempts to burst into song. The good guys are nearly thwarted by the dreaded, tree-shaped "Knights Who Say Ni!" A feisty enemy warrior, bloodily shorn of his arms and legs in the thick of battle, threatens to bite off his opponent's kneecap. A French military officer shouts such taunts as "I fart in your general direction" and "I wave my private parts at your aunties." Rabbits are a particular obsession of the writers this time around, ranging from the huge Trojan Rabbit to the "killer bunny" that decapitates one of the knights.  This is comedy gold from start to finish and it remains as hilarious and irreverent four decades later.

Robocop and The Terminator are two of the best ultra-violent sci-fi action films of the 1980's. In 1992 a four-issue comic book series "Robocop versus The Terminator" was released. Written by Frank Miller ("The Dark Knight Returns", "Sin City",), the comic series told the story of Robocop going up against Skynet. We will most likely never see a Robocop vs. The Terminator feature film, so Popcorn Nights and O Cinema have taken inspiration by Frank Miller's work and decided to spend a day with Robocop and The Terminator on the big screen.

Join us on Father's Day for this one-night-only special event.

LOVE & MERCY
LOVE & MERCY presents an unconventional portrait of Brian Wilson, the mercurial singer, songwriter and leader of The Beach Boys. Set against the era defining catalog of Wilson's music, the film intimately examines the personal voyage of the icon whose success came at extraordinary personal cost.

Few musical acts are as widely beloved as the Beach Boys. Under the visionary leadership of singer-songwriter Brian Wilson, the California surf combo redefined the sound of American popular music in the 1960s. But their joyful harmonies concealed Wilson's private struggle with addiction and mental illness, and by the early seventies he had descended into drug-fueled isolation. LOVE & MERCY is an intimate rendering of Wilson's mercurial genius, illustrating both his musical mastery and the psychological pain it disguised.

As the younger Wilson,Paul Dano gives a superb performance that conveys the artist's prodigious gifts as well as his increasingly precarious mental state.  John Cusack is equally compelling, burrowing into himself as Dano's middle-aged counterpart.  From the dark side of his creativity to the love that helped him heal, LOVE & MERCY gives us a rare understanding of the music and the mind of a twentieth-century icon.

RAVE REVIEWS
"It's a loving tribute to the Beach Boys and the man responsible for their distinctive sound, but it goes to deeper and stranger places than most movies of its kind." - New York Times

"a sensory experience that puts you inside the songwriter's head....
Sometimes, from madness, great art can emerge." - Miami Herald
